Taneco’s founders are also passionate protectors and preservers of Tattoo History and Taneco inc. Is proud to be the first needle company to pledge 5% of its profits to establishing a National Tattoo Museum.

Our Story
Taneco was born from a deep respect for tattoo history and the tattoo community. Founders Chuey Quintanar and Lucky Bastard began by creating the Traveling Tattoo Museum, a grassroots effort that educated thousands and raised funds toward building America’s first National Tattoo Museum. That mission—to preserve and honor tattoo culture—naturally evolved into a company built to serve artists while giving back to the history that shaped the craft.
With that purpose in mind, Taneco developed a line of premium needle cartridges designed through extensive research and collaboration with top artists across all styles. The Taneco Pro Series combines cutting-edge technology with the traditions of tattooing’s past, delivering meticulously engineered, artist-friendly tools—from single liners to large magnum shaders.
This is only the beginning. With the support and input of the tattoo community, Taneco will continue expanding its line while working to preserve tattoo culture for future generations.
